Collin College Offers Wintermester Classes

For those students looking to do something fun and productive with their winter break, they can now register for Collin College’s Wintermester, an intensive mini-semester during the traditional winter break of December and January. All three of the college’s main campuses will host Wintermester classes from dates, Dec. 14-18, 21 and Jan. 4-8, with a short break in the middle – Dec. 22-Jan. 3 – so students don’t miss out on any holiday fun.

Classes to include U.S. history, government, intro to humanities, general psychology and many more. According to Director of Admissions/Registrar Todd Fields, the mini-semester is beneficial to current students who want to get ahead in their Collin College academic plan, as well as for those students who have transferred out but traveling home to visit with family.

Students can check out the e-schedule http://www.collin.edu/academics/class_schedule.aspx for a full list of available courses and register now before the desired classes are filled. Payment will be due upon registration.
