Known as the Halloween Capital of North Texas, City officials expect this year’s Beware! of the Square to be one of the biggest and best Halloween celebrations in North Texas.

“This annual Halloween celebration is one of the largest and most fun festivals we host each year,” said Mayor Ryan Tubbs. “Our residents and guests who participate in Beware! of the Square will see why Celina is a premier North Texas Halloween destination.”

This year’s Beware! of the Square will feature trick-or-treating at the various vendor booths, a kids zone with bounce houses, pumpkin painting, live entertainment, and opportunities to take memorable Halloween photos across the Downtown Square. The Celina High School Theater Department will be putting on its annual Haunted House at Two29 on the Square. Some of the live entertainment sponsored by KMI A/C & Heating will include magic shows, aerial silks performance, hand balance acrobats, hula hoops, LED hologram spinners, and poi dance shows.

The first 3,000 kids that make their way to the Celina Ace Hardware booth will receive a free trick-or-treat bag for the event.

For the second consecutive year, Carter BloodCare will be at Beware! of the Square where attendees will have the opportunity to donate blood and take part in the Battle of the Badges Contest between the Celina Police Department and Celina Fire Department.

There will be two shuttle locations for parking at Celina High School (3455 N. Preston Road) and Collin College – Celina Campus (2505 Kinship Parkway). The shuttles, which are sponsored by W3 Luxury Living, are free to take to and from the Beware! of the Square event.

The City of Celina would like to extend its special thanks to the wonderful sponsors that make Beware! of the Square a memorable event: Sinacola (Title Sponsor), Cook Children’s Health Care System (Kids Zone), REX Real Estate (Haunted House), Celina Ace Hardware (Trick-or-Treat Bags), One Preston Station (Photo Ops), KMI A/C & Heating (Entertainment), Waste Connections (Koozies), W3 Luxury Living (Shuttles), Brookshire’s (Pumpkins), Centurion American (Partner), Children’s Health (Partner), Essex Management (Partner), Hemphill Orthodontics (Partner), HilltopSecurities (Partner), Jim Adler & Associates (Partner), Methodist Celina Medical Center (Partner), and Renewal by Anderson (Partner).
