RFJ Auto Partners – a large dealership group based in Plano, Texas – has bought Mishawaka, Indiana based Jordan Automotive Group.
Craig Kapson – son of the late Jordan Kapson, who founded the franchise in 1949 – sold the Mishawaka dealership group last week for an undisclosed price. RFJ now owns 28 dealerships nationwide.
Bob Hayden is the general manager for Jordan Automotive Group. According to them, the sale won’t mean any changes for customers of the company, which operates full-service Ford and Toyota dealerships on the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and North Cedar Street and also sells used vehicles. Jerod Bast is Jordan’s marketing and sales director.
Rick Ford launched RFJ in early 2014 by acquiring several dealerships and their group now has dealerships in Indiana, Texas, Washington, Missouri, Alabama, Idaho and New Mexico.
