According to data from the Texas Office of the State Demographer, by 2020 Collin County will have a projected 1.15 million people and by 2050 it will have 3.8 million people and may leave Dallas County behind. This is if the County grows at the same Migration Rate as it grew between years 2000-2010.
Even if Collin County grew at half the rate of that between 2000-2010, it would still have 975,000 people by 2020 and 1.8 million people by 2050 (double of 2015).
