As a part of National Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the 13th annual Plano AsiaFest celebration had its festivities on Saturday, May 7 at Haggard Park in Downtown Plano.
AsiaFest 2016 event was family friendly with free admission and parking in city lots.
There was a fashion show where kids participated. Smriti and Shruti Natarajan perform Bharatanatyam dance. Traditional Indian instruments were on display. Ashley Fong and Annie Lu were the two MCs stars. Other highlights were Aikido at Plano Dojo, QiPao society and Roser Martial Arts center.
