Philips Edison buys Mckinney Market Street

Phillips Edison & Co.’s real estate investment trust has acquired McKinney Market Street center, along with several other grocery store-anchored shopping centers in states of Florida, Nevada and Massachusetts.

McKinney Market Street is a 88,389 square foot shopping center in McKinney, Texas that is anchored by Market Street, a leading grocer in the Dallas area.

McKinney Market Street also features national and regional tenants State Farm Insurance and Massage Heights.

The other DFW acquisition was Suntree Square which is a 99,269 square foot grocery store-anchored shopping center in Southlake, Texas. This acquisition adds the first Tom Thumb grocery-anchored shopping center to the Company’s portfolio. Suntree Square also features national and regional tenants Massage Heights, Brain Balance, Earthwise Pet Supply, Subway, European Wax Center, Pizza Hut and Starbucks.
