Melissa Public Library received a visit from the TAME Trailblazer Mobile Science Exhibit truck (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) on Monday, July 11.
Almost 225 kids and parents came and learned and played with exhibits on weather, medicine, and more.
Youth and adults of all ages, took tours through hands-on stations featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) focus in the fields of Weather, Aerodynamics, Space, Biotechnology, and Energy.
Melissa Public Library received help from over 20 Volunteers who gave up 4-5 hours of their time and energy to help present the various exhibits. Subway in Melissa provided the volunteers and staff with a lunch break.
Ms. Kaitlin – a youth librarian – managed the whole affair.
The Tocker Foundation provided the funding for this experience.
