Hillwood Communities of Perot family has acquired 400 acres from the Wells family in Celina with plans to develop a $500 million, 1,250-home master-planned community.
Homes –Homes are expected to be priced from $300,000 to $500,000 a residence, with the total of expected build-out costing around $500 million. Resort-style amenities, multiple community parks, miles of trails and retail and restaurant space may be part of master-planned community. The land runs along the Preston Road corridor, at the northeast corner of Coit Road and Frontier Parkway, in Celina, Texas.
School – The area is expected to feed into Prosper Independent School District.
Frantic Real Estate Development – The developers heading to northern areas of Dallas-Fort Worth metro is no surprise. This is to meet the growing need for homes in the northern portion of North Texas, especially Collin County.
