Frisco Independent school district (Frisco ISD) will welcome more 600 new teachers this school year to help fill out the staffs at four schools opening this fall.
Lebanon Trail High School, Nelson Middle School, and Miller and Vaughn elementary schools are opening later this month, so the Frisco district needed to hire significantly more personnel as well as fill vacant positions. This is the second consecutive year that Frisco has opened four new schools.

- The new campuses bring the total number of schools in the Frisco district to 68.
