The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Plano hosted an event to benefit children’s health.
They exceeded its fundraising goal by raising $202,000 for the hospital at the Legacy of Love Benefit and Fashion Show in April. Proceeds will be used for patient support, equipment and programs such as pet therapy.
The co-chairs Jean Callison and Joyce Logan had originally set a target of $150,000 for the event.
Children’s Medical Center Plano opened in 2008, and the Legacy Chapter of the auxiliary was formed in 2010. Their 4th annual Legacy of Love Benefit and Fashion Show took place Thursday, April 7 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz of Plano and featured fashion by TOOTSIES and Circa2000 Menswear, along with drinks and bites from EatZi’s, Sambuca, Seasons 52 and several more restaurants.
