Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is opening Innovation hub in Frisco

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, the retail division of Japanese firm, is opening an innovation hub in Frisco.

It is recruiting people with cloud, microservices, and edge computing skills to drive development of its ELERA™ unified commerce platform.

According to the company, greater Dallas area is a strategic choice for the company’s expansion because it is a central hub enabling rapid connectivity to our other development centers in Raleigh/Durham, Guadalajara, Mexico, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, and cities across Europe.

It plans to create 150 jobs over the next two years and its office will be located in Hall Park situated at 3201 Dallas Parkway, Suite 600, Frisco, Texas 75034.

The company’s employees will have access to Hall Park’s amenities, including a fitness facility, cafe, lounge, walking trails, electric vehicle charging stations etc.

The company’s Durham, North Carolina location will continue to serve as the global headquarters driving these global investments and growth strategies.
