You are cordially invited to attend an Open House at the Parker Fire Station to meet the firefighters and medical personnel of the Parker Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD).
You can see all the emergency equipment and technical support supplies that have been purchased with your generous contributions over the past years. You will be able to gain insights into the Fire Department, the Fire Station and volunteer services that the city of Parker strives to achieve. These vital resources are available to our community, through the training and commitment of the firefighters, in case of medical emergencies and fires.
You may visit in your casual clothing, enjoy some refreshments and meet the Parker volunteers who are always there for all of us.
Saturday April 30, 2016 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Event Highlights: Careflite helicopter on display (barring no emergencies) Fire trucks, fire equipment, medical cart Photo ops with the firefighters and equipment Fire hose demonstration Opportunity to have blood pressure checked Information on volunteering to become a firefighter or medical personnel Face painting for young and old
There was not a fundraiser held this year for the PVFD, so this will be your opportunity to donate to the department. Just put your contribution in the fireman’s boot at the event or you may drop it off at City Hall, noting it is for the PVFD.
