North Texas Food Bank To Host Emergency Mobile Pantry Distributions on Feb 20 (Saturday), To Support Community After Winter Storms

The North Texas Food Bank is hosting two special Mobile Pantry distributions this Saturday, February 20 to distribute pre-kitted meal boxes to help community recover from this week’s winter storms.

Thanks to a donation from Hello Fresh and their delivery arm Grand Husky Logistics, the North Texas Food Bank is receiving one of their largest food donations this year- more than 150 pallets of Hello Fresh boxes — equivalent to approximately 25,000 meal kits.

Participants will be able to attend the drive-thru distribution and receive pre-kitted meal boxes.

Distributions are being done on a first come, first serve basis.

WHAT:   Two drive-thru Mobile Pantry distributions giving out pre-kitted HelloFresh meal boxes. Residents who identify as being unable to cook will receive shelf-stable, ready-made foods.

There is no need to register for Mobile Pantry pick up, it is first come first served. You must have a vehicle to pick up unless otherwise specified.

Mobile Pantry participants are requested to give their name and share their family size to receive food. No proof is necessary.
