A work study meeting revised the expected cost of the new McKinney stadium and adjacent events center to a grand total of $69.9 million.
This increase in price is a remarkable 11% rise in just a quarter of a year. This is a reflection of rising construction costs, specifically increase in the going rate for concrete.
Katy Stadium (Houston metroplex) is also expecting increased cost for their version.
