Collin College’s THE ARTS Gallery is holding “Texas Clay: An Exhibition of Texas Ceramics” between April 14-May 11. The event brings the beauty of these hand-crafted pieces to the gallery that is located on Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
Curated by Chris Gray, professor of ceramics at Collin College, this show spotlights the diverse talent of ceramists who either reside, lived or were educated in the state of Texas. There are a growing number of fantastic makers of clay objects in or from Texas, and this exhibition will showcase a handpicked selection of their work.

In addition to the show, there will be a ceramics lecture for Art Café from noon-12:45 p.m., April 27 in room C103 at the Spring Creek Campus. This event and the show are free and open to the public.
