BGCCC holds 5th Annual Charity Texas Hold’em Tournament

March 31, 2016 – there was a good turnout and support for the 5th Annual Charity Texas Hold’em Tournament and Money Matters. Ken Moraif was Title Sponsor for the 5th year in a row.BGCCC_Poker_Tournament_2016


Tournament was held at Gleneagles Country Club with over 200 supporters in attendance. Players enjoyed an evening of Texas Hold ‘EM, Blackjack and purchasing raffle tickets for a trip to Punta Mita, Mexico in a 4 bedroom home with a pool, Jacuzzi on a Jack Nicklaus golf course, including a $1,000 gift card.

Ken Moraif spoke before the tournament on the importance of our children to the community and how the BGCCC has been serving children since 1968 in Collin County and the need is greater now than ever.  He spoke of wanting to give all the BGCCC children the opportunity for a great future and thanked the Board Members and Staff for all we do to help our children with Academic Achievement, building Character & Leadership skills and stressing the importance of Health and Life skills, since nationwide one of every three children are overweight. This event enables us to continue to serve the children in Collin County who need us the most.
