Allen High School is one of 13 U.S. schools selected as a 2016 GRAMMY® Signature School and has been awarded a grant totaling $2,500 by the GRAMMY Foundation through the GRAMMY in the Schools program.
Created in 1998, the GRAMMY Signature Schools program recognizes the top U.S. public high schools that make an outstanding commitment to music education during an academic school year.
Each of the 13 GRAMMY Signature Schools receives a custom award and a monetary grant to benefit its music program. The GRAMMY Foundation awarded a total of $61,000 to the honored schools.
The GRAMMY Signature Schools program is made possible in part through the support of the Ford Motor Company Fund.
