Anna

Annual Fireworks Show runs from 8:00 PM until 10:30 PM at Anna High School, 1107 Rosamond Parkway in Allen. Parking lots open at 8:00 PM, with the fireworks at 9:30 PM.

Celina

Old Celina Park is Celina’s crown jewel of parks and host to most all of their youth and adult sports activities. Live music and entertainment, free kids activities, water slides, craft and merchandise vendors, food, fireworks and much more. Free, but there is a fee for parking. Location: Old Celina Park at 12670 FM 428, Celina.

Farmersville

Sparks of Freedom Fireworks at Southlake Park, 1601 Old Josephine Road in Farmersville, starting at 7:00 PM. Activities include live entertainment, fire truck tours, car show, cake auction, games, vendors and a fireworks show.

Frisco

The Annual Freedom Fest takes place from 4:00 PM until late evening at the Simpson Plaza at City Hall. Visit the Community Stage, Children’s Expo, the Hometown Heroes Exhibit and Party in the Plaza. Various Frisco restaurants will be participating in the Taste of Frisco. See a soccer match with FC Dallas at nearby Toyota Stadium, followed by a fireworks show at 10:00 PM. The Emcees for the event are CBS 11 News Anchor Doug Dunbar and Meteorologist Scott Padgett.

McKinney

Enjoy Red White and Boom! at two locations this year. The parade will kick off the event in Historic Downtown McKinney at 10:00 AM. The Yankee Doodle Block Party will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. See Yankee Doodle Elvis, enjoy games and good food, and dunk both Hillary and Donald in the dunking booth! A classic car show will be held at the corner of Tennessee and Davis from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The evening activities for Red White and Boom! are scheduled for the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Enjoy the activities and good food. The Blue Water Highway Band will perform from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, followed by fireworks at 9:45 PM. Call 972-547- 7480 for more information.

Plano

Lions Club Independence Day Parade starting at 9:00 AM at the Plano Independent School District Administration Building, just east of Independence Parkway on 15 th Street. See over 100 floats as the parade marches up Independence Parkway to Parkhaven Drive. As is the tradition, the Collin County Republican Men’s Club will hand out thousands of American Flags to start the festivities.

All-American Fourth starting at 5:00 PM at Oak Pointe Park, opposite Collin College just east of Jupiter on Spring Creek Parkway. Food trucks start serving at 5:00 PM, music with a DJ starts at 7:30 PM, with the great fireworks show starting at 9:30 PM.

Richardson

Family 4 th Celebration at Breckenridge Park from 6:00 PM to 10:15 PM. Attractions include balloon artist, bounce houses, and a climbing wall. The Star Spangled Safety Event will feature displays on Fire Safety, Crime Prevention and Emergency Preparedness, as well as goody bags for the kids. There will be a police car bounce house and a fire truck slide. Entertainment includes Griffin Tucker and a Patriotic Salute Concert by the Richardson Community Band. Due to limited parking, free round-trip shuttle service is available from the Rockwall-Collins campus at Renner and Shiloh Roads starting at 6:00 PM. Weston

31 st Annual July 4 th Parade on Main Street in Weston at 10:00 AM. Activities include a Flag raising, the Parade, Patriotic Music and a Bake Sale.

Wylie

July 2nd – A full day event beginning with live music, a car show, chili cook-off, arts and crafts and culminating with fireworks! This is a great way to celebrate our nation’s independence in a small town atmosphere. Free. Location: Olde City Park, 112 S Ballard Ave, Wylie, TX 75098
